(vocal and bass, just the bass and nothing but the bass) Jeremiah has been "into" folk music since his early teens. In the folk explosion of the 60’s, he recalls spending much time in Yorkville, listening to Gordon Lightfoot, Joni Mitchell , Sonny & Brownie, Tom Rush and just aching with the desire to be able to reach people that way. His first public (inadvertent) performance was in a lineup in front of the Riverboat at 8:30, waiting for Gordon Lightfoot’s midnight show and singing a verse of 'Is There Anybody Here?' by way of trying to show a friend why he was so excited by a new folk artist named Phil Ochs. Apparently, he wasn't singing quite as quietly as he thought and got a round of applause when he finished. ("It only took me another 25 years to get around to actually going on stage".)

Several years ago, he took up the bass guitar ("I refer to myself as a bassist ordinaire"). As a member of various groups, he has taken part in the Dundas Kite and Cactus Festivals, Hamilton's Literacy Festival, and several "Celtic Cabaret" fundraiser's for the Carnegie Gallery in Dundas, pub gigs, the Heritage River Festival and at concerts celebrating Hamilton's Sesquicentennial. His groups have opened for Ron Hynes and Fred Eaglesmith. He has played bass for Shawn Brush on the main stage of Hamilton Place.

In March of 2009, he has teamed up with Eric Bower to form JERICHO (Jerry, Eric & Co), a multi-genre acoustic-based duo.

Jeremiah also has a personal website on which he maintains as much information as he can find on folk music in south central Ontario, including club listings and a reference calendar.
