Welcome to the website for the musical duo JERICHO, who are based in southern Ontario, Canada.

JERICHOis multi-genre acoustic-based duo consisting of Jeremiah McCaw Budnark and Eric Bower. They describe their repertoire as "from roots to rock – our way!"

Although aware of each other as electric bass players, and both involved in the operation of the Brantford Open Stage for several years; it wasn't until an impromptu jam on stage at Oakville`s Moonshine Cafe in March of 2009 that Jeremiah realized that Eric also possessed considerable `conventional` guitar skills, as well as a facility for harmony singing. Discovering also, that the pair shared similar performance sensibilities; the duo officially formed over coffee later that same evening.

The amalgam of Jeremiah`s `folkie` with Eric`s R&B background has provided them with a rich and varied repertoire (including original material). It also helps that the pair share a finely developed sense of the absurd that often creeps into their performances.

The name JERICHO is somewhat a contraction of `Jerry, Eric & Co` (Guest performers becoming part of the duo is not an unusual occurrence at a Jericho gig.) Not to be confused with the TV show Jericho.

Eric also operates Bower Audio, a professional sound reinforcement company. Jeremiah has a personal website on which he maintains as much information as he can find on folk-related music in south central Ontario, including club listings and a reference calendar.
